Supporting Sustainable Palm Oil Production(RSPO)

つくる責任、つかう責任

Responsible Production and Consumption

We are committed to the sustainable management and efficient use of nature resources.

RSPOとは

What is RSPO?

RSPO stands for the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm oil, a non-profit organization
established by stakeholders involved in the palm oil industry,
with the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) playing a central role.

Miccheal Chemical’s Initiative

We support the production of certified sustainable palm oil through the RSPO Book & Claim (B&C) system.

Use of Recycled Cooking Oil

つくる責任、つかう責任

Responsible Production and Consumption

We aim to reduce waste generation.

陸の豊かさも守ろう

Life on Land

We support sustainable forest management, aiming to halt deforestation, promote reforestation, and restore degraded forests.

Miccheal Chemical’s Initiative

By using recycled cooking oil as a raw material in our hand soap, we help reduce waste,
minimize the discharge of water pollutants, and lower the consumption of palm oil resources.
This contributes to environmental protection and the realization of a more sustainable society.

リサイクル油の使用
  • エコマーク認定

Our “Eco Hand Soap Made from Recycled Oil” is certified with the Eco Mark.

  • 再生油からつくったエコ・ハンドソープ

Discarded cooking oil is collected, carefully refined, and repurposed into our “Eco Hand Soap Made from Recycled Oil.”

Adoption of Resource-Saving Packaging

Pouch-Packaged Products

Detergents and hand soaps in pouches use up to
80% less plastic compared to traditional plastic bottles.
These compact, cost-effective packaging solutions help reduce plastic waste and promote sustainability.

Miccheal Chemical’s Initiative

Bag-in-Box (BIB) Products

We actively use Bag-in-Box (BIB) containers, which combine a film-based inner bag with a cardboard outer box. These packages can be easily separated for disposal, and the cardboard can be recycled, contributing to waste reduction and circular use of resources.

Development of Highly Biodegradable Products

つくる責任、つかう責任

Responsible Production and Consumption

We are committed to reducing emissions of chemicals and waste into the air, water, and soil through proper management practices.

生分解性の高い製品の開発

What is Biodegradability?

Biodegradation refers to the process by which substances discharged into nature
—such as soil and waterways—are broken down into inorganic matter by microorganisms.

Miccheal Chemical’s Initiative

We are developing products that are highly biodegradable and environmentally friendly, helping to reduce environmental impact.

Consideration for Sick Building Syndrome

すべての人に健康と福祉を

Good Health and Well-Being

We aim to reduce illness and deaths caused by environmental pollution.

シックハウス症候群への配慮

What is Sick Building Syndrome?

Sick Building Syndrome refers to health issues caused by indoor air pollution
resulting from chemical substances emitted by building materials and interior finishes,
as well as from mold, dust mites, and other contaminants.
One major contributing factor is the presence of volatile organic compounds (VOCs).

Miccheal Chemical’s Initiative

We are actively developing products that are free from VOCs, or contain low levels of VOCs, and do not use organophosphates or suspected endocrine-disrupting chemicals.
Our goal is to promote healthier indoor environments through safer cleaning and maintenance solutions.

Miccheal Chemical’s Initiative

We obtained Eco Action 21 certification and registration on March 29, 2010.
Under this framework, we focus on seven key initiatives aimed at reducing environmental impact and improving environmental performance. These include: Reducing CO2 emissions, Reducing, properly disposing of, and recycling waste, and helping customers reduce their environmental impact through our products and services.
